Product Care

  • Storage

    • Wood boards should be stored in a cool dry place.

    • No resin pieces should be stored under heavy weight ( all your plates) and if possible wrapped in a piece of material.

  • Cleaning

    • Products should not be submerged in water. No hot water should be used at anytime.

    • You can wipe the pieces down with a gentle dishsoap and damp cloth.

  • Use

    Things that can harm resin:

    • Knives - These are not cutting boards. If you want to use them for charcuterie ( and I hope you do) food needs to be pre-cut

    • Acid - Any pickled items will need to be kept in a small bowl

    • Direct sunlight: if you are displaying pieces outside they will distort in colour over time if in direct sunlight. They should be hung in a cool shady spot

    • Heat - No hot foods or hot items . PLEASE take extra care when using them for candles. I love using my pieces for this BUT I don’t recommend candles be placed directly on these pieces. If you aren’t using glass or crystal holders to provide a barrier check the heat from the candles as they burn down. Wax will also be tricky to remove.

  • Soaps

My soaps are vegan and meant for dishes only. They can also make a great stain remover but a spot should be tested before using. If you have sensitive skin I recommend wearing dish gloves.
